Stronger Communities Programme Round 10 Open

2 October 2026

Expressions of interest are now open for round 10 of the Stronger Communities Programme.

Grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 are available to help community organisations fund projects that strengthen and benefit local communities.

Federal Member for Forrest Ben Small encourages community organisations across the Forrest electorate to submit an expression of interest to his office before they close on 30th October.

Mr Small MP emphasised the importance of this program for the local community.

“Our community organisations are the backbone of what makes our region and indeed our country great, it’s crucial that we support them where we can.”

“This Programme is a really important opportunity for community groups to improve and build on their goals and aspirations. I encourage all groups in Forrest to look at the grant guidelines and consider submitting an EOI.”

“All information can be found on my website at bensmallmp.com.au.”

“If any community groups have questions, my team are ready to try and answer them so please get in touch with the Forrest Electorate Offices in Bunbury or Busselton and we’ll try to get things cleared up.”

Grant funding can only be used for eligible activities, including but not limited to; installation of solar panels at a local community centre, constructing a disability access ramp or lift at public facilities, purchasing equipment for community infrastructure or sporting grounds that supports positive mental or physical health, upgrading facilities at a community centre, Scout or Guides Halls or Men’s Sheds or, installation of a native garden to update community facilities and spaces.

The Expression of interest is now available by visiting my website: Grants and Resources - Ben Small MP . Organisations are encouraged to complete the online form, or apply by emailing a copy of the expression of interest to my office at [email protected].
