Residents of the Forrest electorate (including Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough, Margaret River and surrounding communities) celebrating eligible milestones.
Eligible occasions & who can send messages
Birthdays
- 90th: Prime Minister, Governor-General, Premier, Governor, and Ben Small MP
- 100th (and every year after): The King (via Government House), Prime Minister, Governor-General, Premier, Governor, and Ben Small MP
Wedding Anniversaries
- 50th (Golden): Prime Minister, Governor-General, Premier, Governor, and Ben Small MP
- 60th (Diamond) & every 5 years after: The King (via Government House), Prime Minister, Governor-General, Premier, Governor, and Ben Small MP
Other Milestones (on request)
- 65th, 70th, 75th birthdays; 40th, 45th anniversaries; community or club centenaries.
- Ben can also provide personalised certificates for significant community service milestones (e.g., RSL, CWA, SES, VFRS, sporting life memberships).
How to apply
Please provide:
- Full name(s) as they should appear on the message
- Home address (must be within the Forrest electorate)
- Exact date of the milestone
- Proof of age/marriage (copy of birth or marriage certificate, passport, or statutory declaration)
- Contact person (name, phone, email)
- Delivery preference (post to recipient, collect from office, or presentation by Ben if diary permits)
Lead times
- 8 weeks prior to the milestone is ideal (especially for Royal messages).
- Minimum: Please aim for 6 weeks.
- If the milestone has just passed, we may still assist—contact us as soon as possible.
Privacy
Documents are used only to verify eligibility and obtain messages from the relevant offices. Copies may be provided to Government House, the Governor-General’s office, the Prime Minister’s office and the WA Premier/Governor for the purpose of preparing the message. We handle all personal information in line with Commonwealth privacy obligations.
Special presentations
Where possible, Ben is happy to present the certificate in person at community events, aged-care facilities or private gatherings within the electorate. Please indicate if you’d like to request an appearance; this is subject to parliamentary and electorate commitments.
Notes
- If the recipient prefers no public acknowledgment, please tell us—confidentiality will be respected.
- For anniversaries where one partner is deceased, commemorations can still be arranged on request.
- If original documents are unavailable, a statutory declaration witnessed by an authorised person is acceptable.
