Expressions of interest are now open for Stronger Communities Programme Round 10

The program provides funding of between $2,500 and $20,000 for eligible small infrastructure projects that strengthen local communities, with $150,000 available for projects across the Forrest electorate.

If your organisation has a project that could benefit our community, complete the expression of interest form below to be considered for nomination. Before submitting your expression of interest, please check eligibility requirements and eligible project types by viewing the grant opportunity guidelines. 

Please note, to be eligible the entire project needs to be located within the Forrest electorate.

EOI's close on 30 October 2026.

All applications will be assessed by an independent panel. Grants are not ongoing and recommendations from the panel will be assessed by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.

Successful organisations will be contacted by The Department with a link, via email, to officially apply for a Stronger Communities Grant. This is expected to be from mid to late December 2026 and these must be completed by 19 January 2027.

The Department aims to assess applications and advise of approval in April 2027 for payment by May 2027 (TBC). Grant funding is able to be spent from the date you submit your application, and must be completed by 31 March 2028.
