One of my top priorities is tackling the Housing Crisis that is hurting families, young people, and retirees across our region.

We must act on both sides of the equation: controlling migration levels to manage the soaring demand and unlocking the supply of new housing. That means reducing red tape, cutting through systematic delays, and removing unnecessary barriers for builders, developers, and councils so that more homes can be built, faster.

If this Albanese Government fails to act, the housing crisis will only worsen - pushing prices and rents to unsustainable levels and locking too many Australians out of the dream of home ownership – this is something we have already seen.

I am fighting for practical reforms to deliver more homes, restore affordability, and give Australians confidence that the housing market works for them - not against them.
