“The Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is repeatedly exposing himself as a leader who fails the tests he set down prior to his election.” Ben Small MP has claimed as details emerge about Labor’s multicultural spending after the 2025 election.

“His own words expose this Prime Minister as a fraud and a liar.” Mr Small said, before continuing to argue that “Albanese has been caught red-handed dishing out almost $200m of money taken off hard working Australians and using that money to fund the ghettoisation of Australia at the exact moment in time when we need to be brought together as Australians.”
It has been revealed that through Labor’s Supporting Multicultural Communities Program (SMPC) 94.2% of infrastructure funding went to projects in Labor held electorates. The SMPC, which is managed through three different streams, includes more than $129 million for infrastructure-related grants. Only organisations identified by the Australian Government are invited to apply.
Analysis of 90 funded SMCP infrastructure and amenities projects, published on the GrantConnect website, shows 84 (93.3 per cent) are located in Labor electorates. More than half of all funding ($67.1 million, 51.8%) and almost two-thirds of projects (61.1%) were directed to electorates held by margins of less than 10%, the seats most likely to determine the outcome of the federal election.
“Albanese divided this country with the Voice, he’s now been caught dividing Australians with their own tax money.” Mr Small said.
Ben Small went on “You can’t spin these numbers into something that passes the pub test. I’m not suggesting that not a single one of the projects was without merit, but taken together, this a gross abuse of Australian taxpayer money.”
“Albanese once called for “the abuse of taxpayer money to stop”. I didn’t realise he only wanted it to stop until it was him giving it out. Why did project merit stop mattering to Albanese on the day he became Prime Minister?” Small asked, before saying that:
“I’m not demanding that Labor meet my standard but I am demanding that they meet the one they set themselves in the years before being elected - loudly.”
Labor promised to change the way politics was done, but by following the money, we see that was just another Labor lie.
“How can anyone believe another thing that this Prime Minister says? He set the very standard that he now fails. In fact, he once said “you can only lie to people once” - after five years of non-stop lies, it’s time this Prime Minister faced the music.”
This revelation comes as the Parliament prepares to sit for the next fortnight.
