I strongly support a diverse mix of energy sources to ensure Australia has secure, affordable, and sustainable power into the future. It is well known that I do not support Labor’s reckless proposal for an offshore wind farm in Geographe Bay.

The Labor Government’s offshore wind proposal was an unconsulted attempt to make regional communities the repository for Labor 's renewables-only energy policies.

My election in the electorate of Forrest was a clear mandate from our community against this proposal. The consultation process has been nothing short of appalling, with local voices ignored as Labor steamrolls its energy agenda into our region.

We deserve an energy policy that respects our environment, supports industry, and reflects the will of the community -not one imposed on us from Canberra. I will continue to advocate for a balanced approach to energy that reduces emissions, protects our coastline, and delivers economic sustainability for regional Australians.
